I have no idea what I'm doing

I told Sheila I'd help with the blogging but I'm going to be honest: I've never really blogged before and the instructions here on the site are by default in some foreign language, so if this doesn't post to the right place or I look like an idiot, we'll just chalk that up to reality, shall we?
